60″ x 72″, oil on canvas
Although this image is quite large, the subject has a calm demeanor that draws the viewer in. The bold choice to go with a black baground paid off, and the black and white palette lends a chic & sophisticated air to an otherwise academic approach to this subject. The dark background also accentuates the subtle tones and details of the painting.Although this image is quite large, the subject has a calm demeanor that draws the viewer in. | cigar chart |

12″ x 36″, oil on canvas:
Rich golds, honey, and small touches of pinks make up the majority of this images palette. This chart categorizes the sizes and shapes from smallest to largest, and also provides insight regarding details such as leaf color and texture as they relate to the various countries of origin. The bands bear the names of a few of my favorite brands.
