In this early exploration of my fascination with white charcoal, I crafted a masterpiece that exudes a sense of discovery and celebration. As I delved deeper into my artistic journey, I made a pivotal discovery. While experimenting with black charcoal and observing how highly detailed areas became enveloped in darkness, I realized the profound impact of its opposite counterpart—white. This revelation brought forth a refreshing lightness, akin to stumbling upon serendipitous innovations that redefine artistic boundaries.
Now, a decade and counting, the 'shapes' series stands as a testament to ongoing exploration and evolution. Each piece embodies the spirit of discovery, inviting viewers to embark on a journey of artistic exploration and innovation.
